New in C-Class of Mercedes Family

The Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class (codename CL203) is a luxury compact car which has been produced by the Mercedes Car Group division of Daimler AG since 2002, as part of the C-Class, and since 2008 as its own lineup. The first generation was based on the W203 C-Class and sold as the C-Class Sport coupe or Sport Coupe. At the launch of the Sport coupe, a new family of supercharged four cylinder engines, dubbed M271, also debuted for the entire range C-Class range.

The official announcement came in and a new Mercedes Benz CLC (Sport Coupe) is ready to be released. It has the same C-class radiator grille we’re used with and the big Mercedes logo on it, new projection-beam headlamps, a new rear bumper and third brake LED light. It’s obvious that the first thing you look at is the exterior and the new Mercedes Benz CLC has a lot to get your attention, but what about under the hood? The specs include a 4-cylinder or a 6-cylinder engine that have from 122 hp up to 272 hp, a six-speed manual transmission for all models while the 7G-Tronic seven-speed transmission is optional for the V6 models. If it’s fuel consumption you’re interested in then you should know that CLC 200 KOMPRESSOR that outputs 184hp is 30mpg for the gas engine and 40mpg for the diesel version. On the interior you get three infotainment units with color display, twin tuner, speed-sensitive volume control and Bluetooth mobile phone interface. The Mercedes CLC is also the proud owner the new Audio 50 APS and COMMAND APS units and the LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system for your cell phone, audio and navigation. The standard specification for the sports package includes a new direct-steer system, which further enhances the agile driving experience of the CLC while adding an important boost to safety. This new feature is based on the speed-sensitive power steering and also offers a variable rack ratio which changes as a function of the steering angle so that the driver only has to turn the wheel slightly when cornering; the Sports Coupe therefore responds far more spontaneously to steering commands and offers even sportier handling. As a result, the direct-steer system also improves handling safety in critical situations - for instance when taking sudden evasive action - as the field tests conducted by the Mercedes engineers demonstrate.  All of them used the same 1.8 L engine, with different designations according to horsepower levels, including a version powered by natural gas. The 193 PS (142 kW/190 hp) C 230K was initially available only in the Sport coupe. When you choose a sports car you need to think how you will drive it, and the sort of power you want. The new CLC will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the fashion event. These completely new designs were developed at CLC in response to a growing constituency of skilled paddlers seeking waterborne sports cars for racing, exercise, or just plain fun.
